2024–25 Academic Year
LL.M. students taking 12 or more credit hours per semester will be classified as full-time students and charged the full-time tuition rate for their program.

Student Fee Descriptions
Student Activity Fee
This fee provides funding for all student organizations and activities sponsored by the Office of Student Affairs.
Chicago-Kent Fitness Center Fee
All law students have access to the Chicago-Kent Fitness Center located on the Concourse level of the law school. The fitness center fee covers the cost of equipment, towel service, maintenance, and supplies.
Chicago Transit Authority U-Pass
The U-Pass is a discount fare card that can be used for unlimited rides on all CTA buses and trains. All full-time students are automatically charged for the U-Pass unless they opt out each semester by the specified deadline. Part-time students may opt in to receive a U-Pass.
Student Health Insurance
All students registered for at least 1 credit hour, regardless of their division, are required to have health insurance and will automatically be billed for student health insurance for the year unless they provide proof of other health insurance coverage. Coverage for dependents and spouses is also available for additional charges.
