They work at prestigious law firms, hold political office, work in businesses, government agencies and public interest organizations, and hold judicial and academic positions throughout Chicago, the Midwest, and across the country. Every year, hundreds of alumni volunteer their time to support Chicago-Kent students through various programs and activities. Here are just a few examples of the ways in which alumni support our students each year:
- Alumni-Student ConneKtions Week is a week-long extravaganza of opportunities for students to network and connect with Chicago-Kent alumni and gain valuable career-related skills. Activities include informational interviews, mock interviews, job shadowing, Coffee ConneKtions and a networking reception.
- Through the Alumni Advisor Network alumni from around the world are available to discuss issues such as practice trends, legal markets in specific geographic areas, and other career-related topics with current students.
- ConneKtions @ Dinner Week is an opportunity for alumni in Chicago to host a small group of students and recent graduates at local restaurants or open their homes to students for small dinner parties, bringing together students, alumni and faculty in a friendly environment for good food, conversation, camaraderie and to build a stronger Chicago-Kent community.
