Services for Students

Chicago-Kent College of Law librarians advance student academic success by providing research guidance, collecting sample exams from faculty, and teaching legal research sessions across the curriculum, including upper-level legal writing classes and “prepare to practice” sessions designed to help Chicago-Kent students shine in the workplace. The librarians also develop expert online research guides in many areas of law and non-legal research.

The library supports our students after they graduate. Chicago-Kent alumni can contact us for research assistance and access our research guides.

Chicago-Kent faculty and students

Services for Faculty

Law librarians offer expert research assistance including in-depth legal and non-legal research. The library provides faculty access to print and digital resources through our many consortial partners. Librarians provide scholarship support by assisting with submission, distribution, and promotion of faculty scholarship. Additionally, the library manages Scholarly Commons, where we host faculty scholarship and Chicago-Kent’s legal publications.

Our technology librarians support teaching faculty by providing training and support resources for course websites and other digital education tools from Zoom to Panopto.
