This year's theme is "Holding Our Democracy Accountable."

The Annual Conference for Teachers in Civics, Law, and Government takes place each Fall. This one of a kind working conference brings together teachers, professors, lawyers, judges, civic leaders, cultural institution scholars, civic education specialists, and others to highlight the best practices for teaching young people awareness of their rights and responsibilities as engaged citizens.

The conference features dynamic workshops with nationally recognized presenters on legal and political issues, interactive teaching methods, and innovative materials for the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers to share their experiences, best practices, strategies, and curricula while participating in a broader conversation about current issues.
