Section 1 Information
Description
An in-depth examination of the federal law concerning discrimination in employment on the bases of race, sex, religion, national origin, age, and disability. Topics covered include: Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Equal Pay Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Illinois Human Rights Act also falls within the purview of this course, as does the common law development regarding wrongful discharge.
