William Reynolds

Assistant Clinical Professor

William Reynolds joined the Chicago-Kent College of Law faculty in 2022 as an assistant clinical professor and director of the C-K Law Group’s Employee Benefits Clinic. The clinic’s practice focuses on individual employee benefit claims brought under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), including short- and long-term disability insurance claims, life and accidental death insurance claims, and health insurance claims.

Prior to joining Chicago-Kent, William was a shareholder at DeBofsky Sherman Casciari Reynolds, P.C. in Chicago, Illinois. He has argued before United States Courts of Appeals and successfully litigated ERISA benefits cases throughout the United States.

William is the co-editor of a chapter of Bloomberg BNA’s Employee Benefits Law regarding ERISA and the Affordable Care Act. He regularly presents at bar association conferences and meetings and leads disability benefits discussions at several chronic disease support groups.
