U.S. Senator Dick Durbin and CME Group CEO Craig S. Donohue to address 2010 IIT IIT Chicago-Kent graduates May 16 at the UIC Forum

U.S. Senator Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.) and Craig S. Donohue, chief executive officer of CME Group, will address graduates at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law's 2010 ceremonies on Sunday, May 16, at 2:30 p.m. Commencement will be held at the UIC Forum, 725 West Roosevelt Rd., in Chicago.

"Senator Durbin's lifelong commitment to public service is evident through his work on health and wellness, education, consumer safety and protection, and many other important issues," said Dean Harold J. Krent. "I am confident our graduates will be inspired by Senator Durbin's remarks."

"Likewise, we are proud to welcome Craig Donohue home. As a CEO committed to global growth and innovation, Craig is an outstanding role model for young professionals looking to their futures," said Dean Krent.

Craig S. Donohue, who earned an LL.M. degree in financial services law from Chicago-Kent in 1989, has served as CEO of CME Group and its predecessor company, CME Holdings Inc., since 2004. In that position, Mr. Donohue oversees the world's largest and most diverse derivatives marketplace, including the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) and the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX).

Chicago-Kent College of Law is the law school of Illinois Institute of Technology, a private, Ph.D.-granting institution with programs in engineering, science, psychology, architecture, business, design and law.
