Immigration Law Society (ILS) is sending a team  of three students to the 2025 NYU’s Immigration Law Competition. This is an excellent opportunity to practice writing appellate briefs and improve oral advocacy skills. Joining the team would require a considerable amount of commitment.

If you are interested in being considered for a place on the team, please email ILS@kentlaw.iit.edu by the end of Friday, October 18 and include your resume, a writing sample, and a short statement of interest detailing why you want to participate in this competition and prior oral and written advocacy experience.

ILS executive board and Moot Court Committee members will review applications and make a team selection by Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024.
