Chicago-Kent Moot Court Honors Society Team Reaches Finals in NYC Bar Association's National Moot Court Competition

Chicago-Kent Moot Court Honor Society members Zelpha Williams and Jacob Skolnik ended their impressive competition careers by taking second place in the national rounds of the NYC Bar Association's 72nd National Moot Court Competition. After the team finished as regional champions in November, it went undefeated for five rounds in the national rounds of this competition, and the final round was incredibly close.

This is the second year in a row that Chicago-Kent has earned a spot in the national rounds of Nationals; last year, Hayden Dinges and Dan Kfoury won the national best brief and finished as national quarterfinalists.

Chicago-Kent's team was assisted along the way by Professors Nagel and Godfrey; friend of our program Dan Birk; Alumni Circle judges Cait Sinclair and Hayden Dinges; alum Alex Atkins; and current students Hannah Bucher, Nicole Jansma, Gina Qualter, Ryan Martin, Dylan Sacenti, and Taylor Shuman.
