Do not travel alone in public areas, or stand alone at the bus stop, or corner. Keep alert for person(s) following you. Be wary of strangers offering assistance. Don't openly wear or display jewelry or handbags. The Conviser Law Center of IIT provides year-round security officer escorts after 5:00 PM weekdays and on weekends.
