The Jessup 2023 Tryout: Tryout to join International Moot Court Honor Society and to compete in the Jessup International Law Moot Court competition in the Spring. After four years of virtual competitions, ILSA announced that the Jessup 2023 international rounds will be held in person in Washington DC!

To tryout, students are required to prepare:

  1. A short brief of no more than three (3) pages arguing one of the issues from the position of either the applicant or the respondent; and
  2. An informal oral argument of no more than 8 minutes arguing the same position.

The tryout materials will be posted on the ILMCHS website soon. 

Please submit the brief to imchs@kentlaw.iit.edu by 11:59pm on Saturday, August 24, 2022.

An informal oral argument is tentatively scheduled between Wednesday, August 25 and Friday, August 26, 2022.
