Three judges have just reached out to us to say they are now accepting Judicial externs for Spring 2024 semester.

  • The Honorable Jeremy C. Daniel (Federal District Court for the Northern District)
  • The Honorable William B. Sullivan (Circuit Court of Cook County - Chancery Division) 
  • The judges of the Seventh Judicial Circuit in Sangamon County are also seeking a judicial extern to work in their courts (this is a remote position).

If you wish to apply to any of these opportunities, please email Michael Oakes (moakes@kentlaw.iit.edu) and include:  

  • a cover letter
  • an updated resume
  • a writing sample
  • unofficial transcripts. 

You also must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2. If you are applying to the Sangamon County judges you are also welcome to include letters of reference, but they are not required.

The deadline for applying is December 1st.
