Description: Please join the Chicago-Kent chapters of the Society of Women in Law and the American Constitution Society in recognition of April being Sexual Assault Awareness Month for a panel focusing on Domestic Violence legal work, the history and recent changes to laws impacting clients in domestic violence situations, and how the pandemic has impacted client services. This event will feature Chicago-Kent Professor Kari Johnson; recent alumni Joey Carrillo; and Director of Ascend Justice's Domestic Violence Legal Clinic, Danielle Parisi Ruffatto. This event is hybrid and will take place on Friday April 29, 12:00PM-1:00PM in room 345.
