Building Success: A First-Gen and Women in Law Panel

Friday, Oct. 22 at 5:30 p.m.

Join the First-Generation Law Student Association and Women in Law for an evening with a panel of successful female attorneys in a broad spectrum of fields. Marlén Cortez Morris is a Labor & Employment litigator and shareholder at Ogletree Deakins; Maria Martinez is Legislative Counsel at the City of Chicago;  Amy Peña is in house General Counsel at the Chicago Community Trust; and Laurie Silvestri is the Director of the C-K Upper-Level Legal Writing Program. The panel will focus on career exploration as well as strategies for building first-gen and female success.
