Please reference the Student Employment Handbook for Chicago-Kent student workers, effective for hiring for the Summer 1 employment term starting on May 16th.

UPDATES FOR SUMMER 2021:

  • This newly released Handbook is intended for supervisors and students; therefore, share the Google Document with your perspective and/or hired student workers.
  • All forms with personal identity information must be password protected by students; unprotected documents will no longer be accepted. Links to new hire payroll forms are accessible via the Student Employment Handbook, page 10.
  • Illinois Tech has a strict policy to hire Federal Work Study eligible students only for employment, except for academic or mission critical jobs and non-university funded projects.
