Michael Greenberg Writing Competition
This competition is dedicated to encouraging and recognizing outstanding law student scholarship on the legal issues affecting LGBTQ+ persons. The winning article is considered for publication each year in the Tulane Journal of Law & Sexuality: A Review of Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity in the Law.

Jan Jancin Competition
"The Jan Jancin Awards are merit-based scholarship awards that recognize rising second and third year law students from diverse backgrounds who are underrepresented racial or ethnic minorities, who have expressed an interest in pursuing a career as an IP lawyer, and who have engaged in activities reflecting that interest."

National Law Review 2020-2021 Law Student Writing Competition
"straightforward and practical, containing useful information of interest to legal and business professionals" Suggested Topics:

American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources Energy Law Writing Competition
"Entries for the Competition should demonstrate original thought on a question of legal and/or policy significance on any issue related to energy law. Submissions may
advocate a position, educate the reader, or analyze one or more cases. The decision of whether a particular essay qualifies as to subject matter is entirely within the discretion of the Section."

American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources Law Student Writing Competition: Constitutional Law
"The goal of the Competition is to encourage law students to become involved in the Section. It is also intended to attract students to the practice of environmental law and raise awareness of and foster dialogue regarding federal and state constitutional issues related to the practice of environmental law. Examples of these issues include standing, preemption, takings, the separation of powers, and all constitutional issues related to the prosecution of environmental crimes."
