From September 17-20, 2025, Chicago, IL will be the site of the annual meeting of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges (NCBJ). The NCBJ includes in its membership nearly all of the federal bankruptcy judges in the United States. The NCBJ's annual meeting is the premier gathering of attorneys, academics, judges, investment bankers, and turnaround managers, along with a variety of other restructuring professionals. A panel of federal judges and prominent lawyers who are attending the NCBJ meeting have agreed to participate in and sponsor a free bankruptcy law forum for law students followed by a networking reception. This is part of the NCBJ's outreach and will provide interested students with an opportunity to learn more about careers in bankruptcy & restructuring law..
