Exit Counseling Requirements for May Graduates!

All students who are ready to graduate in Spring 2024, who have submitted an Application for Graduation, and who have borrowed federal student loans at Chicago-Kent College of Law must complete Exit Counseling. If you have NOT borrowed federal student loans, you may disregard this requirement!

Please visit our Planning for Graduation webpage which can be found by clicking here: Planning for Graduation. On this webpage, you will find all of the details necessary to complete your online EXIT COUNSELING requirements, which at Chicago-Kent, consists of:

1.       Online Exit Counseling with the Department of Education (direct link provided) – THIS IS A REQUIREMENT

2.       In-Person Loan Repayment Workshops on March 27th (3pm – 4pm) and March 28th (5pm – 6pm) at Chicago-Kent College – This is STRONGLY Encouraged

3.       In-Person, 30 Minute One-on-One financial coaching appointments with an AccessLex Accredited Financial Counselor® on the dates mentioned above This is STRONGLY Encouraged

4.       National Loan Repayment Webinars – Optional

You must register for a MAX by AccessLex account to schedule a coaching meeting or to register for a national webinar. You  will find a link to the registration instructions on the Planning for Graduation webpage (link above).
