Record Submission Guidelines

Chicago-Kent faculty, students, and staff members may submit announcements for consideration to The Record no later than noon on Thursday for the following Monday’s issue to Submissions will be reviewed, approved, and posted in the order they are received; once reviewed, they will be available online. Submissions may be edited for content, style, and clarity.

If the announcement is related to an event, please be sure to include the following information. Submissions with incomplete information may not be approved. Events can also be shared on the main website. Events submitted for publication on the main site will automatically be included in The Record.

-Event title
-Date and time

-Registration links and cost
-Contact information for the event host/organizer and intended audience (students, faculty, staff, general public)
-Names and titles of all guest speakers and any relevant links (e.g., speaker’s website or firm biography, sponsoring organization names and links, etc.)
-Brief description of the event itself
