Admitted Students Weekend

Dean Anita K. Krug cordially invites you to attend the Admitted Students Weekend for members of the 2025 entering class.

Admitted Students Weekend is a great time to visit Chicago-Kent, meet your future classmates, and learn more about our community. During the weekend, you will have the opportunity to meet Chicago-Kent faculty, students and alumni, and learn more about what to expect during your first year of law school.

Travel Stipends Available

We are pleased to offer travel stipends for admitted students who live more than 80 miles (one way) from campus to help defray the cost of transportation and hotel expenses. These stipends will reimburse up to $200 of eligible travel expenses for Admitted Students Weekend. Eligible travel expenses include airline, train or bus fare to Chicago; the cost of gas and tolls for those traveling by car; and/or hotel accommodations. Reimbursement requests must be submitted to the Office of Admissions by May 1, 2025.

9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.  

Dean's Program: Inside the Chicago-Kent Law School Experience
9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
The Dean's Program will provide you with an overview of student life at Chicago-Kent. You'll learn about our career development program, diversity initiatives, and gain insight into the student experience through a panel discussion with current law students.  

Law School Mini-Class
11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Experience the Socratic method first-hand as you attend a law school mini-class taught by a Chicago-Kent professor.  

Lunch, Student Organization Fair and Tours
12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Meet current law students from many of Chicago-Kent's student organizations, speak with Financial Aid representatives and tour the law school. Lunch will be provided.
