External Scholarships

Throughout the year, the Office of Admissions receives notices of scholarships that are offered through external organizations. Information about the scholarship awards that are currently available is listed below. Award notices are listed in the order in which they were received.

New! The Illinois Government Bar Association Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: April 24, 2026

The Government Bar Association Scholarship is awarded to an Illinois law student who intends to pursue a career in local, state, or federal government. Applicants who have had (or currently have) a job or an internship in Illinois in the public sector or who have committed to having such a job or internship beginning in June 2026 will be given preference. New! The Will County Women's Bar Association Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: May 31, 2026

Each year, the Will County Women’s Bar Association awards a scholarship to an individual over the age of eighteen (18) pursuing a course of study in the legal field. This includes current students and those enrolled to begin by Fall 2026. The Bohemian Lawyers' Association Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: March 27, 2026

The Bohemian Lawyers' Association of Chicago Scholarship Fund was founded in 1998 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All persons of Czech, Moravian, Ruthenian, Silesian or Slovak ancestry enrolled in one of the law schools listed below are eligible for a Bohemian Lawyers’ Association of Chicago (BLA) annual scholarship. The Boone County Bar Association Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: March 31, 2026

The Boone County Bar Association awards scholarship(s) each school year to student(s) that are accepted or currently attending an American Bar Association accredited law school. The applicant must either be a current Boone County resident or a resident of Boone County at the time of his or her high school graduation. The Honorable C. Timothy Evans Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: April 13, 2026

“The Honorable Timothy C. Evans Scholarship” was established to honor the commitment and dedication that the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Timothy C. Evans, has devoted to the Northwest Suburban Bar Association (NWSBA) and to the community of Cook County. Interested students can learn more and apply via the following page: The Honorable C.
