Throughout the year, the Office of Admissions receives notices of scholarships that are offered through external organizations. Information about the scholarship awards that are currently available is listed below. Award notices are listed in the order in which they were received.

NEW!  Illinois Government Bar Association Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: April 7, 2023

Now in its fifteenth year, the Illinois Government Bar Association is awarded to a qualifying Illinois law student each spring. General requirements include being a first, second, or third-year law student with the intention of a career in local, state, or federal government. NEW!  Honorable Timothy C. Evans Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: April 21, 2023

The Honorable Timothy C. Evans Scholarship is available to law school students currently accepted to attend or attending an Illinois accredited law school and who reside in Cook, Lake, DuPage, or McHenry counties and who have demonstrated a commitment to the highest scholastic standards. DRI Diversity Scholarship Fund Award

Application Deadline: March 31, 2023

DRI’s annual Law Student Diversity Scholarship program is open to rising (2023–2024) second-and third-year law students who come from historically marginalized groups. To qualify for this scholarship, a candidate must be a full-time student. Evening students qualify for consideration if they have completed one-third or more of the total credit hours required for a degree by the applicant’s law school.* The goal of these scholarships is to provide financial assistance to three worthy law students from ABA-accredited law schools to promote, in a tangible way, the DRI Diversity Statement of Principle. LMJ Scholarship Fund Award

Application Deadline: April 3, 2023

In 2004, MCCA established the LMJ Scholarship Program and awarded the first scholarships in 2005. The LMJ Scholarship is a diversity pipeline program that seeks to nurture the academic and professional careers of outstanding law students. The scholarship is open to women and diverse students who have: been accepted to an ABA-accredited law school on a full-time basis; an outstanding or promising academic record; an interest in corporate law; demonstrated community service and leadership qualities; a financial need; and a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity. Interested students can learn more and apply on the following page: LMJ Scholarship

The DuPage Bar Foundation Scholarship Fund Award

Application Deadline: April 7, 2023

The DuPage Bar Foundation (DBF) awards scholarships to deserving law school students each year. Any eligible student is encouraged to apply. Eligibility includes successful completion of the credit equivalent of one year at an ABA accredited law school. Interested students can learn more and apply on the following page: DBF Scholarship

A. Lincoln National Criminal Justice Scholarship Fund Award

Application Deadline: March 31, 2023

We are pleased to announce The Abraham Lincoln National Criminal Justice Scholarship for 2022. Trial LawHER Scholarship Fund Award

Application Deadline: May 1, 2023

The annual Trial LawHER Scholarship application window is now open. This scholarship is given to a female rising 3L who aspires to become a plaintiff trial lawyer. Interested students can learn more and apply on the following page: Trial LawHER

If you have been awarded a Chicago-Kent scholarship for the 2021–22 academic year, please refer to the scholarship policies from the current Student Handbook for important information concerning your award.
