The Institute’s Members are a pivotal piece of the Institute’s success. Members are law firms and union organizations whose yearly membership fees provide vital financial support via scholarships for our students in the Labor and Employment Law Certificate Program. Students enrolled in the Program are eligible for scholarship support based on academic performance, demonstrated interest in labor and employment law, and financial need.
Members also play a leading role in the Institute's intellectual enterprise. Annual conferences are held at which leaders representing labor, management, individual employees, and government agencies exchange perspectives on developing issues in the workplace. Members also provide advice on the Institute's activities, externship placements for students in the law school's Certificate Program, and active support for the Institute's mission.
