What’s Your Vision for the Future?

Saman Haque '20 first visited Conviser Law Center to support her brother, who had just been admitted. Five years later, they're both Chicago-Kent College of Law alumni, running their own firm with their younger brother, also a Chicago-Kent graduate.

I felt like my time at Chicago-Kent was strongly guided by professors teaching practical skills that I consistently use in my practice. They tailored the academic experience to real-world situations so that we could actually learn applicable skills—not just regurgitate information.

Gerena Gregory ’16 wasn’t sure what to expect when she moved to Chicago to attend Chicago-Kent College of Law. The real-world training and support she received has helped propel her to New York City.

Chicago-Kent provides multiple opportunities for real-world legal experience through its legal clinics, internships, and faculty who are or were practicing attorneys. This experience exposed me to client management, law firm operations, and prepared me to think critically when faced with different client matters.

J.D. Program

Chicago-Kent College of Law’s many distinguished programs, including top-ranked programs in Intellectual Property Law and Labor and Employment Law, prepare our students not just to succeed, but also to excel in their fields. We offer twelve formalized J.D. certificate programs as well as a number of other focused areas of study.

LL.M. Program

The Chicago-Kent Office of International Programs has a 25-year history of educating LL.M. students from over sixty countries. Our students enjoy a dynamic, enriching, and welcoming community with colleagues from the U.S. and from around the world.

Non-Degree Certifications

In addition to our J.D. programs, we also offer several certifications, mostly geared toward working professionals who wish to receive specialized training but don’t want to enroll in a formal degree program.

Joint Degree Programs

Chicago-Kent offers a number of joint-degree programs for students who wish to pursue two degrees concurrently, both at Illinois Institute of Technology and other area universities.
