Marketing and Communications

Illinois Tech’s Marketing and Communications office works with Chicago-Kent College of Law to boost the school’s visibility and increase enrollment. The team partners with Chicago-Kent students, staff, and faculty on a number of ongoing projects.

Website

The M&C team manages the main Chicago-Kent website and is responsible for all updates. Please send any requests for changes to our Project Request Form. That is also where you can send requests for updates to the main Illinois Tech site that deal with Chicago-Kent. Any questions about the form should be directed to mschalm@iit.edu.

Media

M&C’s press team handles requests from the media, helps prepare faculty for media appearances, and helps to promote the law school through news appearances. Faculty who have made media appearances, reporters who are looking for interviews, or anyone with other media-related inquiries should reach out to press@iit.edu.

Marketing Projects

Any marketing project requests must be submitted through the Project Request Form. The M&C team can handle a variety of types of requests, including promotion, proofreading, photography, and videography. A comprehensive list of our services can be found on the Illinois Tech website. For help with the form, or for help planning a marketing request, please email Marty Schalm at mschalm@iit.edu.

Events Form

The M&C team assists the event planning team in posting events on the website. If you would like an event featured on the website, please fill out the events post form. If you have issues with the form, or need to make updates to your submission, email events@kentlaw.iit.edu. Events submitted through the form are automatically included in The Record on the Monday before the event.

News Stories

Content manager Kayla Molander writes all content featured on the site and in the alumni magazine, Chicago-Kent Magazine. She is always looking for stories about student, staff, alumni, and faculty accomplishments. If you have any ideas, please send them to kmolander@iit.edu.

Social Media

The M&C team operates Chicago-Kent’s social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube. You can reach out to the team directly through those channels, or you can email marketing@iit.edu.
